Well. My sis put a bug in my ear about rape kits, so I decided to peruse the West Jordan (Utah) Police Department's victim assistance website. And if there was any question about us homeschooling Da Boy, those have been magically wiped away. Check this out:

Domestic violence is the majority of our cases, we work both with men and woman but the largest population is woman.

Yes, I'm a Grammar Nazi. I took the test and Hitler's picture came up. But there are so many things wrong with that sentence, I can't even start to catalogue them. I just want to ask one thing: Is there just one woman in Utah, being victimized over and over again by different men? Who writes this garbage? I could do better than that when I was in sixth grade.

Here's another gem:
We work with victims from all kinds of crisis and disasters. With cases of violent crimes for example assault with physical injuries, rape and sexual assault and aggravated crimes, we do immediate crisis counseling and then work with the victims to help get there medical bills paid, help them get into therapy and help them through the criminal justice systems.

Yep. That's all one sentence. And what a crappy sentence it is, too. And this is the official website of my fair city. You think I'm letting them anywhere near my kid with a book? Not on your life.
