I almost forgot!

Justin also got to feed a giraffe at the World Wildlife Zoo, which he thought was pretty cool. Giraffes have amazing tongues.

And he got to feed the Lorikeets--which he thought was less cool. The birds freaked him out a bit; in fact, we had to leave the enclosure because he started crying. Then he acted like he wanted to go back in!

So, I'm not sure if he's going to be afraid of birds for the rest of his life. Guess we'll have to take him to our local zoo and see how he reacts to feeding the birds there.

On another note:
I'm too late for the Open On Sunday fic challenge, but I'll probably do something with it anyway, if only to keep in practice. The challenge is to go to dictionary.com and get the word of the day for your birthday, and incorporate that into either the title, the drabble, or both. I have five words to play with: redoubt, malodorous, yen, garrulous, and provender. Wouldn't it be fun to incorporate all five words into one drabble? *wheels turning*
