I got to talk to Michael Medved about "Serenity" today. *flails*

Okay. *deep breath* First off, he loved the movie, so YAY!!! But he "laughed" when River was kicking ass, because she's so tiny...but I got to point out that she is a trained ballerina, and has muscles in places we can't even name, plus she's psychic and therefore knows what her opponent is going to do before they do it. Which, you know...confers a slight advantage. *cough*

People into martial arts don't generally laugh when tiny people kick ass, because they know it's all about leverage.

But, both the call screener and Michael loved the film. *flails some more*

I own that book! It rocks. I've been a fan of his for a VERY long time, and he's one of the few movie reviewers whose opinion I actually trust. The guy in my local paper is TERRIBLE.
