Well, I've added 405 words and introduced a new character into the BearFic. She's a reporter, and they'll have a jolly time skating around her. Hopefully I can slide her in without too much trouble.

Of course, the problem is that this story was around 5300 words, and now it's around 5700, and I'm not sure it can be trimmed anymore. AND I'm going to have to keep adding to it, because I've got a whole new character. SO, I'm reducing the markets I can sub it to by virtue of word count alone. Seeing as I already write pretty sparely and people are always complaining that I don't describe enough, I'm pretty sure that trimming much of anything more is out of the question.

ARGH. It'll be interesting to see what this tops out at. I really don't need another 10K-word monster, although the last one sold to the first market I subbed it to...

Note to self: Have the crew drop her off before they drop the bear off, yes?
