Are you reading the commentaries?

Because, I'm kind of learning a little by doing the commentaries, but I'm not sure that my time could be spent more productively doing something else, since as far as I know, only one person is actually reading them. And I know I'm just as guilty for not commenting in others' LJ, so I'm not trying to bust anyone's chops for it--but the commentaries are time-consuming to do, and if I should be writing instead...
