Well, that explains a lot.

Vincent Kartheiser talks about his role on Angel.

In other news, I picked up the BSG miniseries at the library today, along with discs 3 & 4 of S2 of Doctor Who. And the next books in the Miles Vorkosigan saga--which I was really happy to see the cover of, because it's just that cool that the wolf-girl is still around. *happyflails*

Here's what my TV viewing is looking like this fall:
Monday: 7pm--Chuck 8pm--Heroes
Tuesday: 7pm--Bones 8pm--House
Wednesday: 9pm--CSI:NY (I may check out the Bionic Woman as well)
Friday: 8pm--Moonlight 9pm--Numb3rs

"Chuck" has Adam Baldwin and an intriguing premise. "Moonlight" replaced "Close to Home" (which endeared it to me immediately; GAWD, I hated that show) and had Stephen S. DeKnight going for it before he had to leave for, I believe, health reasons, although it looks like a horrible mishmash of every bad vampire cliche in the book. It will be snerkable, if nothing else. Now, if only they'd replace "The Ghost Whisperer" with something actually good, I could die happy.

We just watched the VeggieTales version of the story of David and Bathsheba. OMG, the people at Big Idea are brilliant.

Writing? What is this writing of which you speak? I should post more pix from Kalispell, too, because my favorites are in the next batch...

*uses Schlock icon because, hey. Who doesn't love Schlock?*

Well, that was certainly...random.

Glad I'm not the only one going to try out Moonlight to see if it will give me a vampire fix of some sort LOL. I don't think they know what they want with it though.

YES Veggie Tales! Love those veggies so much. No kids but love the vegtables. They AWE brilliant.

We went grocery shopping the other day, and Da Boy wanted me to buy a cucumber and a tomato so he could play Bob and Larry. It was so cute. :) So, I've hunted around on eBay, and there are plushies--and his Grandmother has authorized me to buy some on her behalf for him for Christmas.

He is so right about poor Connor - there was the possibility of a really interesting character and they screwed it up.

I loved what they did with him in S5, but S4 was just...ugh. And the Connor: Spotlight comic was very cool.

I'll be very interested to see if he makes an appearance in the Angel S6 comics; I've used him in a few post-NFA fics myself, and he's a fun character to write when he's not whinging.

I love Seagent Taura so very much. :)

I'll be interested in your take on BSG.

Hmm. We don't have as much tv overlap as I would have thought. Just Chuck and Heroes and we're going to check out Journeyman. Wednesday will be Lost and we're also checking out Bionic Woman. Friday is Stargate Atlantis and Flash Gordon. I really hope we don't like some of the new shows. That's way too much tv.

We'll be watching Lost as well, but it doesn't premiere until January or February, I think. We have no cable, so we're limited to broadcast TV; no Sci-Fi Friday for us. :(

*googles Journeyman* Ooooo.... Since it's on Mondays right after Heroes, we'll have to check that out too. Interesting that NBC is doing two new shows on Monday nights.

I had forgotten there was so long to wait fo rLost to start. For our tv watching time that's a good thing.

They really are piling up Monday night with shows I at least want to check out.

No Sci-Fi chennel is serious sadness. That means you're missing Eureka! which I think may be the best written i'm watching currently. You can probably find Season 1 at the library. I think you would like it.

Wow. Kartheiser came off awful in that.

He kind of did, didn't he? "I had ideas about the character and they ignored me WOE." Dude, you're an actor--act and let the writers do their job. If you have ideas about where a character should go, then get a job on the other side of the camera. Maybe if he hadn't phoned in his performance, we would have liked the character better.

Although I liked what they did with him in S5. He wasn't WHINY. Whiny = freaking annoying.
