Er. For the link-o-phobic, that's a news story about new words being added to the Oxford English Dictionary.

*is wistful* First time I remember hearing the word "ginormous" was our Fred describing her new office at Wolfram and Hart.

In other news, I just checked my library system again, and they have the live-action "The Tick" series. What? Of course I reserved it. What do you take me for? They also have "Kingdom Hospital" and "Tru Calling," but my cup's running over enough for now, with the Who and the Brisco.

*snerk* The OED just had a conference in my department's building last month, actually. Lots of fun talks about what goes into adding words and the like. Also lots of crazy drunk people, but that's every conference. :P

There is a programme on BBC called Balderdash & Piffle which is about adding words to the OED, checking first useage etc. - which is actually fascinating.
