Meme-age!

Gakked from [livejournal.com profile] appomattoxco. Pick one sentence from each of your current WIP's and post them under their titles. Erm, I don't generally title things until they're written, unless a title just jumps out and bites me on the butt.

From my Angel S5 "Spike's corporeality was only temporary" fic:
I would always have a place in my heart for her, a large one, but if her bloody cookie dough didn't finish baking soon, maybe I'd have a brownie instead.

From my new MustardVerse fic, in which Spike moves to LA and meets Lorne for the first time:
Not full of the Slayer anymore, but full of Someone Else, Someone he shouldn't have been full of at all. He'd gone and broken the rules again, the naughty boy.
Er, yeah, that's two sentences. Sue me.

From my NaNoWriMo novel:
A sword-carrying figure in a black felt cowboy hat, a tan canvas duster, and black cowboy boots leaped in through the smashed window and grinningly eyed the tableau.

Argh. I've written nothing today. Of course, I'll probably be up for another five hours, so, still have time, I guess.

Now I'm terribly looking forward to your Angel S5 "Spike's corporeality was only temporary" fic. Ooh... Spike/Fred???

Spike/Fred and Wes/Lilah. I'm going to get her out of that contract with W&H if it kills me.

Heh. Maybe I shouldn't say stuff like that when it comes to W&H...

I've been wrestling with this fic for-freaking-ever. It started out as a simple conversation between Spike and Fred after the Cup of Torment debacle and then one of those dang Plot Bunnies bit me on the ankle and whispered "But what if this happened?" Of course, there are all kinds of ramifications if the corporeality was only temporary, and I have to think through all of them, and since it's being told in first person from Spike's POV, that also limits what I can do.

*headdesk* Why do I get myself into these situations?

Grinningly??

Ly words are mostly forbidden in today's published stuff. Search for them, use them judiciously, and if you use ANY, be forwarned that some will grinningly hit you in the head with a wet pencil.
