I just visited the MountainCon home page to find out when the next ConComm meeting is. I'm going to pitch a panel on "What you can learn about writing by writing fanfic." Not that I'm bitter.

Okay, not that I've ever actually watched Herc, Xena, or Andromeda, but I'm totally excited about this. I shall have to hie me to the library and pick up some Andromeda.

i tried to watch andromeda...i got through the first two episodes, but god, it's kinda bad. my favorite part was when kevin sorbo is all like, hey guys wanna join me in attempting to restore galactic order and peace in the galaxy? and five minutes ago these ppl couldn't care less and suddenly they're like YIPPEEE SURE! I EVEN MIGHT HAVE BEEN A TOTAL BAD GUY, BUT I'VE CHANGED WITHIN THE LAST TWO HOURS!

i think i'll give it a couple more though.

Kevin is both a huge geek and an enormous perv! And the two times I've met him, he's been an absolute sweetheart! (I've heard stories about when the wife is around he's less pleasant.)

He's a fun character though. ;)

Nah. I didn't. I've seen one ep of Andromeda, about 30 seconds of Hercules and I still had a lovely string of sentences with the man. ;)

Seriously - Herc was walking along talking to an invisible person and I just couldn't watch anymore.
