I am holding...
...in my formerly nicotine-stained fingers...
Issue 1 of the Dresden Files comic, "Welcome to the Jungle."
And it's shiny, y'all. The art is fabulous, I'm loving the story so far, Murphy is blonde, Harry drives a Beetle, and there's a character in here who's the spitting image of Fred right down to the babble and the "male" name derived from a female one.
SO MUCH LOVE. Yes. THIS.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that the action so far has taken place in a zoo. Because I'm me, after all.
I want them to do a Codex Alera. And I think I'll go on their forum and tell them so.

Does the comic take more after the novels, the tv show or is its own entity in regards to the art?

The rest of the series is really really good. I'm hearing he has 23 planned, with the last three being an apocalyptic trilogy, and the publisher has signed on for... three more? I think. So we'll get at least up to thirteen or fourteen.
His Codex Alera books are excellent as well.
