YAY x2

I just read that Pushing Daisies got picked up for the whole season. *dances*

And, after watching four episodes and not paying any attention at all to who was playing whom, I looked at Aunt Vivian and said "Hey! That's Ellen Greene!" Who, for those not in the know, played Audrey the Girl in Little Shop of Horrors. I think it was her voice that really did it for me.

I love it when my fandoms collide.

NOT ONLY THAT, but the girl who played the girl in the windmill played Charlie the waitress in Heroes. And Swoosie Kurtz was in an episode as well.

In other news, I think I've figured out what I'm going to write next. I just need to figure out what an insane alien acts like...

Swoozie Kurtz is in all the episodes. She plays Ellen Greene's sister. (And Ellen Greene was Sylar's mom on Heroes).

The duet between Ellen and Kristin was my big highlight this week. I do hope they sing together again.

Thanks for the post. I knew I knew the windmill girl from somewhere.

I had actually meant that Swoosie was in an episode of Heroes, but it turns out I was mistaken. It was actually Ellen Greene who was in that episode, playing (as you said) Sylar's mom. *facepalm*

It's fabulous to see that she's still working. Little Shop is my favorite musical EVER--and I long for the day I can pick up a DVD with the original ending.

Oh! You're right! That was Charlie! I knew I recognized her but couldn't place her! LOL! She played another gal named Charlie on "Ugly Betty" too. Fandoms colliding indeed. ;)

Many thanks for this post! Happy squeeing over Pushing Daisies!

I loved that Ellen Greene and Kristin Chenoweth got a duet even if it was only 30 seconds.

I was wondering where I knew the lady in the windmill from, thank you!
