Good God.

Okay...I don't usually use language like this...

But some total fucking idiot left my gate completely wide open, sometime between yesterday and today. And naturally my dog took the opportunity to go walkabout. I finally found her 50 minutes after I realized she was gone.

Dammit, I don't mind people going in my yard for whatever reason they need to, and I know that gate is a bitch to latch. But for God's sake, if you can't close the gate, at least have the common frickin' courtesy to knock on my door and let me know the damn yard isn't secure. I commonly let my child out there to play with her. God only knows what would have happened if the weather hadn't been crappy today.

Thank God the dog didn't get hit by a car; the silly creature has no traffic sense. Holy cow.

I know how you feel - I have two indoor cats that I never let go outside, mainly because of wolves (my last two cats disappeared and were presumed eaten), but my dad sometimes likes to leave the door open for fresh air. I always close it when I see it open, but even then, the cats are curious and I sometimes have to go and find them outside.

Might want to watch that mouth...Annie might think I'm rubbing off on you or something. *innocent look*

And what's a God-fearing Christian woman like yourself doing getting into LJ brawls? *waves shot glass and salutes* Give that self-righteous, 'I'm 19 and clinging to my Teenage Angst like a washed up Prom Queen still polishing her tiara with 4 rugrats gnawing at her ankles and a gutter trash bastard husband', what fo'!

Who says the Old West is dead and its Wild Women gone. ;)

[innocent look back] Hey, she started it. And fortunately, she's a member of the [livejournal.com profile] childfree Community, so we don't have to worry about her reproducing.
