Yep, we're living the dream, all right. :-) Just yesterday, I heard back from an editor who had originally said she'd publish my article on Sept. 24 (after hanging on to it for two months) -- they'd just decided that it needed more edits, and would I please make them? After I made them and sent the revised piece in, she said she'd "update the article." Whatever THAT means.

Who'd be a writer, indeed.
