Outline woes--Coffee Antho, Take Two.

Understand that I am not shy about killing children in fiction. I've done it more than once.

That being said, I don't want to write a story where the focus is dead babies. In particular, I don't want to write a story wherein a bad guy causes a miscarriage on purpose with a demon civet. I don't have the chops or the inclination to write that in 4000 words and actually do justice to the idea and the emotional fallout.

So, I guess that means I'm hunting another plotline for this story. And I'd better hurry, because the deadline is the 31st.

I would really like to write something funny for it.

Can you promise yourself to write that one as a sick, twisted sequel to the funny one? And then whenever demon civets appear tell yourself, oh, that's good, that's going in the sequel. :)

Um... Alex gets improbable allergic reaction to coffee, goes to get the container to have it tested, discovers house cat has buried it... Um, hijinks ensue?
