Not awful. It's trucking along, I suppose. I swear, by the time I finish it, I'll be knocking on 160K. This is a bad thing. *headdesks repeatedly*

I feel your pain. Mine was definitely knocking on 160k by the time I finished it; just a litlte under. I've barely started the new thing, but I have a feeling that it will be longer. ; ;

If I can knock out the rest of this scene today, I'm going to be at 130K--and I haven't even gotten to Janni's part in all this yet.

Fortunately, there's a lot of stuff in the prison that can be combined and cut.

Heh, yeah. I'm hoping to cut mine down to 120-130kish when I go back and revise it.
