Well, at least that worked.
I can haz Word.
I used the old computer to transfer the files from the Word CD to a thumb drive, and then attempted an install from the thumb drive to this computer.
And it worked like a charm.
Yayz. *weak fist-pump*
I am now slightly less stressed.
I still want something deep-fat-fried and covered in chocolate, however.
