*dies and is ded* Again.

I have an END at the bottom of the page. I have an HEA.

I have...

Drumroll, please.

I have EIGHT THOUSAND (and eighty-one) WORDS.

In three days. For today, that makes approximately 3500.

I'm in shock. I love this story so. Very. Much. I hardly ever go back to the beginning of a story and read it all the way through while I'm writing it, but I've done that several times with this one.

Now. I don't have a title. I don't have backstory. I don't have real first names for these characters (although I have picked last names). I'm not even sure I have any markets. For all I know, there's no "short" romance markets out there at all. For all I know, I'm going to have to put it up somewhere as a freebie. For all I know, an editor will be irritated rather than charmed by the not!Tony-babble. I think I've mentioned how he runs off at both the mouth and the brain. Er. Several times.

But I've written it and it's done(ish) and it's a shiny shiny thing. Numfar! Do the Dance of Joy!

As soon as I either have money to go see it or it comes out to DVD and I can rent it I will. Everybody keeps telling me I need to see it...

This is so not ready to post yet. By the time it is, I'll probably have added another thousand words to it. *headdesk*
Isn't that how it always is....

I just feel disappointed with the drabble because I procrastinated this month. So I ransacked my old fic sections and drabbles that I hadn't posted.

I've been posting a drabble or short ficlet the last day of every month so far. A every single one of them was new stuff. I haven't check my wordcount for the year so far though. *I wonder what it is-- goes over to add it up*

1597 total for the year- posted anyway. Hell not quite as much as last year's but not terrible I guess.

In fact, this story doubles my word count for the year. How sick is that?
Congrats hun!

*redoes math* Well, not quite doubles, but almost. And at least you've accomplished your writing goal! That's awesome. Not too many of us actually hunker down and do it.

Now. If only the Muses would give me more on the Cow & the Beanstalk story, that'd be peachy.

I love how you give your stories these short crazy names to refer to them. I always end up wanting to read them if I hear you mention it enough...

Yup. Not to many of try and post something every week/month. I use to post an open on sunday every week. But know not so much since I usually not online those particular days anymore, and when i am I can find something to dabble on for the promt...

*sends your muse treats if it cooperates*

Ah, the curse of the Working Title. Sometimes I'm tempted to just keep those as titles, and then I figure that's probably a bad idea. LOL

*adds more backstory & description to this one* 8439. Go, me.

I just posted my little drabble and it doesn't even have a title.

True but hey they work for when you're posting about your progress.

Good job!
