[Giles voice]
Oh dear Lord.....[cleaning glasses furiously]
Funniest. Episode. Ever.
Spoilers behind the cut.
Yay! Fred dumped Knox.
Nina made a move on Angel...and tried to use him as a chewtoy. Hee!
I knew I should be suspicious of Gunn's download. Vindicated.
At the beginning, when Wes said "If there's a woman out there who you find truly attractive, who you think about, let's say most of the time, who represents part of what you think makes the world worth fighting for....who doesn't view you as an entirely sexless shoulder to lean on..." Ouch. Of course, he was talking about Angel missing signals, while Fred throws herself at him throughout the entire episode and he misses that. Irony so thick you could cut it with a knife. Not subtle.
Angel to Fred after she says he's cute and plays with his hair: "You're fired." Hee! And them all trying not to laugh. I'd love to see the outtakes from this episode.
"You're a wee little puppet man!" Spike's reaction is priceless. And Muppet!Angel...bites him! And beats him up. Of course, Spike was probably laughing too hard to fight. Not enough Spike in this ep. Well...Spike could be in every scene, and I'd still say "Not enough Spike."
The evil!puppets were uber-creepy. Puppets should be cute and fluffy and...good. Not Jack-Daniels-swilling, cursing, evil agents of Satan. "We eat babies lives!" "And uphold a certain quality of children's edutainment!"
Nina: "Are you okay?"
Angel: "I'm made of felt. And my nose comes off." Later, with his back turned to her cage "I'm paying better attention to..."
And she wolfs out and tries to eat him.
Knox may go evil, if they give him time. Next week's ep looks bad for Fred, so he might not have time to act on his jealousy of what he can see developing between her and Wes. Unless, of course, he's responsible for what's happening to her.
"The Library of Demonic Congress." And "You seen the last few seasons of 'Happy Days'?" Hee!
Fred's a good shot.
Vamp!Muppet!Angel...was priceless. Funniest. Moment. Ever.
Nina waking up with the fuzz in her mouth. "Oh my God, I ate him." ROFL. She bears a striking resemblance to Darla.
Fred finally kissed Wes. And I'm, surprisingly, okay with that. I wanted her for Spike, but my reaction to that scene was "It's about time." I'm glad she finally woke up and smelled the sexy Englishman. Even if it's the wrong Englishman.
Even the Hubby liked the show, and he's not really a fan. I don't think we'll be letting Da Boy watch that one though. Let him keep his innocence awhile longer.
